Who is this guy?
I am a journalist based in Toronto. I work in audio, print and comics.
I’ve written for the Los Angeles Times , The New York Times, the Toronto Star, The Hill Times and other publications.
I am part of The World at Six team at CBC that won gold at the New York Festivals and an RTDNA for best network radio newscast.
Now, I primarily work as a broadcast producer at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, working with reporters behind the scenes to make sense of the news. I also train producers on how to properly vet for radio and how to make compelling sound-rich radio documentaries.
I've worked for CBC in seven locations and have reported for radio, TV and web. I’ve freelanced from Malawi, the Brazilian Amazon and the most northern community in Canada.
I take a lot of pride in going the extra mile. In addition to working with radio reporters, I find freelancers around the world, train them up on CBC style, vet their scripts, edit their audio and then take the newscasts to air.
